Tyrus Peter Ely

Tyrus “Ty” Peter Ely, 32 of S. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana died on July 23, 2016 at 12:21 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana following a brief illness.
Ty was born on July 17, 1984 in Redford, Michigan to Jim Ely and Gloria (Gilman) Ely.
He has lived in the Argos Community since 1998, coming from Michigan.

Ty was a Manager at McDonald’s in LaPaz, Indiana for the past 10 years.
Ty was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 2003.


Ty is survived by his Parents – Jim and Gloria Ely of  Argos, Indiana
Sister – Dayna Ely of Dallas,Texas
Step-Brother – Jeff Haire and wife Melanie of Milford, Michigan
Material Grandparents – Ralph & Elizabeth Gilman of Largo, Florida
Paternal Grandfather – James B. Ely of Bremen, Indiana  

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother – Becky Ely
