Thomas Clyde Quimby

Thomas Clyde Quimby, 71 of Argos, Indiana passed away on January 6, 2024, at 2:55 p.m. in his residence. On January 5, 1953, in Rochester, Indiana he was born to Ernest L. Quimby Sr. and Marguriet (Carlisle) Quimby. Thomas had lived all his life in the Argos community.

On March 3, 1973, in Mishawaka, Indiana he married Chris Kollars and together they shared the next 50 years.

Thomas worked in the maintenance department at Ameri-Can, Argos, Indiana, He was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1973 and volunteered for many years with the Argos Fire Department.

Thomas is survived by his Wife – Chris Quimby of Argos, Indiana, Indiana

Daughter – Tommi Hummel and Travor of Argos, Indiana

Grand Daughters – Brittani Jo Gibson and husband John of Monterey, Indiana and Sabrina VanScoik and husband Jeremy of Plymouth, Indiana

3 Great Grandchildren

Sisters – Valerie Wallis and wife Sharron Anderson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Pixie Dawn Harness of South Bend, Indiana

Brothers – Ronald Lamar Quimby and wife Karen of Ruskin, Florida; Ernest Lamar Quimby Jr. and wife Bert of Grovertown, Indiana; Michael Oliver Quimby and wife Jennifer of Rochester, Indiana

Sister-in-Law – Susan Quimby of South Bend, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister - Marguriet “Peggy” Quimby, and Brother – Stanley Martin Quimby
