Stella Vires Obituary
Stella Vires, 73 of Gumwood Rd., Argos, Indiana died August 24, 2014 at 3:22 p.m. at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana surrounded by her family following a sudden illness.
She was born on December 30, 1940 in Corona, California to Nicholas P. Murphy and Elizabeth (Licon) Murphy. Stella had lived in the Argos community since 1964, coming from California.
On October 13, 1979 in Argos, Indiana she married Charles E. Vires.
Stella was a Housewife-Homemaker.
She had been a past member of the Isaac Walton League, Argos, Indiana. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic Academy class of 1958 in Los Angeles, California, and graduated in 2005 from Bethel College with an Associate’s Degree in Professional Writing and aspired to write children stories and novels.
Stella is survived by her Husband – Charles Vires of Argos, Indiana
Sons – Michael Fear and wife Annie of Tippecanoe, Indiana; David Fear of New Bremen, Ohio; and Jared Vires of Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Karen Olszewski and husband Michael of Plymouth, Indiana; Beth Ann Garnier and husband Glen of Apache Junction, Arizona; and Desiree Felke and husband Marc of Plymouth, Indiana.
Step-Son – Jake Vires and wife Jennifer of Talma, Indiana
Step-Daughters – Heather Vires of Tucson, Arizona; and Sara Parson and husband Jesse of Missouri.

Sister – Ida Manuel of San Diego, California
Brothers – Carmelito Murphy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Roy Murphy and wife Mary of Walnut Creek, California; and Richard Murphy of San Diego, California.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana
Graveside Funeral Services will be on Friday August 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Cemetery on Gumwood Rd., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Denton Howard.
Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
