Sharon Kay (Rice) Zink, 82 of Orland, Indiana passed away November 17, 2025, at 2:49 a.m. at her residence. On December 8, 1942, in Plymouth, Indiana she was born to Robert Edwin Rice Sr. and Marjorie Helen (Arick) Rice. She’s lived in Orland, Indiana for the past 6 years, having lived in Sebring, Florida 15 years prior.

On April 25, 2009, she married Harry H. Zink and together they shared 14 years until he passed away on October 18, 2023.

Sharon was an office administrator for Kendall Electric, Fort Wayne, Indiana and a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1960

Sharon is survived by her Daughters – Sheryl Feltner and Laurel Pocock of Orland, Indiana; Lori Patrick of South Whitley, Indiana; and Krista Ames and husband Chip of Houghton Lake, Michigan

Step-Children – Heather Kelly and husband John of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Michael Zink of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

8 Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren

Sister – Judy Kelly of Sebring, Floridia; Jane Kiefer and husband Chris of Sheridan, Indiana

Brothers – Larry Rice and wife Christie of Plymouth, Indiana; David Rice and wife Carol of Plymouth, Indiana; and Richard Rice and wife Danita of Argos, Indiana

Sister-in-Law - Bonnie Rice of Argos, Indiana and Angela Rice of Plymouth, Indiana

and many Nieces and Nephews

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brothers – Robert E. Rice Jr and Dan Rice, Brother-in-Law - Mike Kelly

Graveside Service of Committal will be held on May 14, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
