Russell Duane Zentz

Russell Duane Zentz, 93 of Argos, Indiana passed away October 14, 2025, at 6:13 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, Indiana. On June 21, 1932, in Argos, Indiana he was born to Claude Zentz and Eva (Kelsey) Zentz. He’s lived in the Argos community for the past 2 years, having lived in Hamlet, Indiana prior.

On October 19, 1957, he married Mary Ann (Vlach) Zentz and together they shared the next 67 years until her passing on February 13, 2025

Russell was a schoolteacher at Triton for 30 years; teaching 5th and 6th grade.

Russell graduated from Argos High School in 1950; he attended Purdue and Graduated in 1958. He earned a master’s degree in 1968 from St. Francis. He was a veteran of the United States Army receiving his Honorable Discharge on October 27, 1954.

Russell is survived by his Daughter – Melissa Zentz of Plymouth, Indiana

Son – Michael Zentz and wife Kimberly of Argos, Indiana

Brother – James Zentz of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, And Brothers Richard, Raymond, Donald, and Larry
