Rose Virginia (Lee) Prochno, 84 of Plymouth, Indiana and formerly of the Argos community passed away October 8, 2023, at 1:40 p.m. at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, Indiana. On March 16, 1939, in Chenoa, Kentucky she was born to Fitzaugh Lee and Nellie (Head) Lee. Virginia lived in Argos community since 1974.
On June 8, 1957, in Crown Point, Indiana she married Dale E. Prochno and together they shared the next 41 years until his passing on April 18, 1998.
Rose was a housewife/homemaker and worked for Marshall/Starke as a bus driver and at Dairy Queen. She was a graduate of Crown Point High School with the class of 1957.
Rose is survived by her Children – Phyllis Prochno of Plymouth, Karen Brenneman and husband Dale of Bremen, Dale Prochno and wife Connie of Nappanee, Carl Prochno and wife Brenda of Argos, John Prochno of Argos, and Janell Naylor-Prochno and husband Kent of Plymouth.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday October 11, 2023, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services on October 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Lonnie Nickles. Burial will follow at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
