Ronald Allen Thomas

Ronald "Ron" Allen Thomas, 79 of Argos, Indiana passed away June 4, 2023, at 4:20 a.m. at his residence. On April 13, 1944, in Plymouth, Indiana he was born to Clarence Thomas and Nina (Cook) Thomas. He lived in Argos, Indiana for the past 52 years, having lived in Walkerton, Indiana prior.

On October 23, 1970, he married Lori K. Warner and together they shared the next 52 years.

Ron worked for McGill Manufacturing in Culver, Indiana and Monticello, Indiana as a machinist.  He was a graduate of Tyner High School with the class of 1962. Ron served his country in the United States Army from July 6, 1965, to July 5, 1967, when he received his Honorable Discharge. He was a member of D.A.V. chapter#42, Plymouth, Indiana

Survivors and Place of Residence: Ron is survived by his Wife – Lori Thomas of Argos, Indiana

Children – Michelle Thomas and friend Silas Hicks of Monterey, Indiana; and Chris Thomas and wife Carrie of Fishers, Indiana.

4 Grandchildren – Charlie Stockman and husband Zach; Tyler Horn; Sydney Horn; and Keegan Thomas  

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters -Beverly Sims and Sandra Frick, and Brothers – Norman Thomas and Merle Thomas

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at the Maple Grove Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Krieg. Burial will follow with military honors with the United States Army Honor Guard and Argos American Legion Post #68.
