Robert (Bob) Lynn Montgomery, 61 of Apple St., Argos, Indiana died unexpectedly on July 2, 2017 while visiting his son in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bob was born on September 17, 1955 to Paul Montgomery and Shirley (Overmyer) Montgomery.
He graduated from Argos High School in 1973. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge, he went into sales and business management. He resided in Argos for the past 10 years. Bob loved to watch sports and the different species of birds with his mother and her companion Billy Marshall.
He loved to cook and eat different cuisines. Bob was always the life of the party, no matter the occasion.
Bob is survived by his Son - Paul of Las Vegas, Daughter - Rachel Bunker and Grandchildren - Kennedy, Carson, Gracie and Charley of Burlington, Wisconsin.
Also surviving are his Mother - Shirley Montgomery of Argos, Sisters - Cindy Montgomery and Polly Montgomery of Argos, Roxanne Rousselle of Scottsdale, AZ. Brothers - Mark (Denise) of LaPorte, IN, Tim (Kathy) of Culver, IN.
Several nieces and nephews.
Aunt Pat(Jerry) Parker of Milford, IN, Uncles, Frank Overmyer of North Webster, IN, Greg (Beth) Overmyer of Indianapolis, IN and several dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father (2003) both sets of grandparents and side kick Billy Marshall.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana. Military Services will be conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard and the Argos American Legion Honor Guard.
