Robert "Bob" Eugene McClain

Robert “Bob” Eugene McClain, 88 of Kokomo, Indiana and formerly of the Argos Community passed away December 8, 2025, at 3:10 p.m. in Ascension Saint Vincent Hospital – Kokomo, Indiana. On July 29, 1937, in Fulton County, Indiana he was born to Harley E. McClain & Josephine E. (Fink) McClain. Bob has lived in Kokomo, Indiana for the past 10 years, having lived most of his life in the Argos community prior. 

On September 16, 1960, in Rochester, Indiana he married Janice Marie Martin and together they shared 51 years before her passing on January 19, 2012.

Bob worked at Rochester Metal’s before taking a position at Culver Military Academy in May of 1980. He worked there until his retirement in 2001.

He had been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ - 208 W. Marshall St., Argos, Indiana

Bob is survived by his Daughter – Melanie Stewart and husband Brian of Kokomo, Indiana

7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren

Sisters – Waunita Rensler and husband Ned of Fulton, Indiana; and Virginia Lee Sivits of Logansport, Indiana

He is preceded in Death by his Parents, Wife, and Son – Eric McClain

Friends may visit with the family Saturday December 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 208 W. Marshall St., Argos, Indiana. Services will start at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Ron Hensley. Burial will follow at the Walnut Church Cemetery, Argos, Indiana
