Robert E. (Wally) Wallace, 68 of Juniper Rd., Argos, Indiana died May 4, 2014 at 8:46 a.m. at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana following a short illness.
He was born on June 27, 1945 in Plymouth, Indiana to Lewis & Betty (Marsh) Wallace and had lived in the Argos community for the last 38 years, coming from Plymouth, Indiana and had spent his whole life in the Marshall County area.
On August 21, 1976 in Donaldson, Indiana he married Debra (Wright) Wallace and together they share 37 years.
He was a mechanic and worked for Pioneer Seed Company in Plymouth, Indiana where he retired in 2012.
Robert was a graduate of West High School, Plymouth, Indiana with the class of 1963.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #68, Argos, Indiana; and V.F.W. Auxiliary, Plymouth, Indiana.
Robert is survived by his Wife – Debra Wallace of Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Pam Greer and husband Jeff of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Paula Condon of Carmel, Indiana.
Son – Chad Wallace of Argos, Indiana
Grandchildren – Joshua Greer and Sarah Greer
Sisters – Marsha Karch of Florida; Sharon Shaffer of Kansas; and Tammie Scherk of Plymouth, Indiana.
Brothers – Lowell Wallace of Plymouth, Indiana; Larry Wallace of Plymouth, Indiana; and Richard Wallace and wife Jean of Plymouth, Indiana.
He is preceded in death by his Parents - Lewis and Betty Wallace
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday May 10, 2014 from 1 – 3 p.m.at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos, Indiana.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. May 10, 2014 at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Richard Dean. Lunch will follow the Memorial Service for close friends and family.
