Robert James Beaver Jr., 56 of Beech Rd., Bourbon, Indiana died on September 9, 2016 at 3:49 a.m. at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born on August 16, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert Beaver Sr. and Leita (Hall) Beaver and had lived in the Argos Community since 1991, coming from Kingman, Arizona.
He worked construction at Bob Beaver Construction.
Bob graduated with the class of 1978 from Proviso East High School in Chicago, Illinois.
Bob served his country in the United States Marine Corp from December 5, 1978 as an Aircraft Safety Equipment Mechanic and on January 4, 1983 Lance Corporal Beaver was Honorable Discharged.
He was a member of the Argos American Legion Post#68 and currently held the office of 1st Vice.
Bob is survived by his Daughters – Kristina Beaver of Sturgis, Michigan; Rachelle Ruggles-Meeks of Rochester, Indiana; Amber Beaver of Plymouth, Indiana; and Ashley Beaver of Bourbon, Indiana
13 Grandchildren and 2 more to arrive shortly.
Father – Robert Beaver Sr. of Cal-Nev-Ari, Nevada
Brothers – George Beaver and David Beaver and wife Patty both of Kingman, Arizona
Sister – LeAnn Beaver of Kingman, Arizona
He is preceded in death by his Mother and Brother – Jamie Beaver.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday September 15, 2016 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Military Services will be held on Thursday September 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos, Indiana.
With the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard and the Argos American Legion Honor Guard conducting Military Honors.
