Richard Thomas Nix Sr.

Richard Thomas Nix Sr., 79 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on July 13, 2026, at 7:20 p.m. at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House, Mishawaka, Indiana. On April 1, 1947, in Mishawaka, Indiana he was born to Elmo Nix and Elizabeth (Gleissner) Nix. He had lived in the Plymouth community since 1984, having lived in Mishawaka prior.

Richard worked for the United States Postal Service in maintenance at the Edison Park Branch, South Bend, Indiana and retired in 2012.

He was a member of the NRA and a graduate of Mishawaka High School with the class of 1965.

Richard is survived by his Daughter – Annie E. Ciboch and husband Tyler of Argos, Indiana  

Grandchildren – Jordyn Matherly of Washington and Kekoa Nix of Plymouth, Indiana

Sisters – Carol Ann Nix of Plymouth, Indiana; and Diane Torok and husband Don of South Bend, Indiana

Nephew - Nick Torok of South Bend, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Son – Richard T. Nix Jr.
