Paula Renee Condon, 56, went home to the Lord after injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Dec. 19, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Paula was born on April 21, 1968, in Plymouth, Indiana, to Robert ‘Wally’ Wallace and Janet (Crow) Eley. She graduated from Argos Community High School in 1986 and Ball State University in 1990. Paula attended iTOWN Church in Fishers, Indiana, as well as lakeside services at Nyona Lake. She was a dedicated member of the executive team at The Sexton Companies where she held the position of Associate Vice President. She held many positions in the property management field in the Midwest that began with a leasing agent role in 1990. Her leadership and commitment to M & J Management / The Sexton Companies will be missed by all who had the privilege of working with her. Paula was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and coworker.
Paula deeply loved her family, as evident by her active role in their lives. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with them, whether through celebrating special events, vacations with family, or simply relaxing together at the lake. Family meant everything to her. Paula will most be remembered for her outgoing and contagiously positive personality. Her family and friends will remember her by her infectious laugh, which brightened every room she was in. Her devotion to those she loved will forever be remembered in the countless memories she created.
Other big loves in her life were her miniature dachshunds, Oscar and Lucy, and spending her summers at Nyona Lake on the water. She was actively involved in the Nyona/South Mud Lake Booster Association. Some of her favorite hobbies included a long day of shopping with her friends and family, and interior design. Paula had a superior touch for decorating, and she brightened any and all rooms she had a hand in piecing together.
Paula is survived by her mother, Janet (Dick) Eley; sister Pam (Jeffrey) Greer; brother Chad Wallace; nephews Joshua (Samantha) Greer and Mitchell Overmyer; nieces Sarah Greer, Amber Miller and Baylee (Tommy) Alexander; stepmother Debbie Wallace; stepsisters Lisa Overmyer and Lori (Bruce) Virgil; and countless other beloved extended family members, coworkers, and loved ones, including her Nyona Lake community.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert ’Wally’ Wallace, stepfather Brent Gochenour, and nephew Tanner Virgil.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Argos United Methodist Church, with the service following at 1 p.m. with Rev. Leon Pomeroy. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
