Patricia Ann (Stutsman) Bellman

Patricia Ann (Stutsman) Bellman, 76 of 2400 College Ave., Goshen, Indiana passed away August 16, 2020 at 4:26 am at Courtyard Health Care Center, Goshen, Indiana. On August 5, 1944 in South Bend, Indiana she was born to Hugo Stutsman and Helen (Gacki) Stutsman. She was raised in South Bend, living with her parents , and attending school there. Patricia helped her mother clean houses for employment for many years. Later in life she married Donald Bellman, and became a full time homemaker. 

Patricia was a spirited, fun loving person who spoke her mind and made her friends smile. She joked about her German temper, but she was also warm and affectionate, giving people big bear hugs. She loved dogs, and county music. A few years ago, she was able to attend a Charlie Pride concert. She sat in the front row, and mouthed the words to all the songs. Patricia liked puzzle books, and crafts. She enjoyed new clothes and wearing pretty hair accessories. She talked of her married life fondly, reminiscing how she and her husband went for motorcycle rides in the middle of the night, just to discover a new local restaurants for breakfast. She often spoke of her mother, friends and family of her youth. She also spoke of her ADEC family, especially those with whom she had been close. The last five years of her life were lived out at Courtyard nursing facility. The nurses and staff at Courtyard helped to make the last season of her life pleasant and care-filled.

 Graveside Services will be held at Bremen Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. August 18, 2020.....................
