Mary Ruth (Hartman) Thompson

Mary Ruth (Hartman) Thompson, 87 of 15th Road, Plymouth, Indiana died on February 26, 2015 at 1:17 a.m. at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Rochester, Indiana. She had been in declining health for several months.
Mary was born on November 27, 1927 in Culver, Indiana to Lawrence & Orpha (Ringer) Hartman.
She had lived in Marshall County all of her life.

On June 12, 1955 in Argos, Indiana she married John Richard Thompson, he preceded her on February 15, 1999.
Mary was a housewife and helped her husband operate their family farm. She also worked at McDonald’s and was a meter reader for REMC.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, now Cornerstone Church of Argos, Indiana; and belonged to the Extension Homemakers Club and Home & Hobby Club.
Mary was a graduate of Culver High School with the class of 1946

She is survived by her Daughter – Susan Botset and husband John of Rochester, Indiana
2 Grandchildren – Danielle Stayton of Rochester, Indiana; and David Stayton of Plymouth, Indiana
Brothers – Darwin Hartman of Culver, Indiana and Leo Hartman and wife Marge of Plymouth, Indiana
Mary is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband – John Richard Thompson, and infant daughter Becky Ruth Thompson.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday March 2, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 12:00 noon March 2, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor John Fishburn.
Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
