Mary Etta (Adams) Hayn, 86 of Maple Rd., Argos, Indiana died on August 12, 2016 at 9:50 p.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver, Indiana where she had been in declining health for the past couple of years. She was known for her warm smile and her Dutch Apple pies.
Mary was born on August 3, 1930 in Argos, Indiana to Loren Adams and Cora (Jeffries) Adams and she had lived in Marshall County all of her life.
On June 14, 1947 in Teegarden, Indiana she married Donald Jay Hayn and together they have shared the past 69 years with each other. Mary was a Housewife/Farmers wife.
Mary enjoyed reading, ironing, and baking pies.
Mary and Don attended the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, Plymouth, Indiana, and were members of the Plymouth Moose Family Center #741, Plymouth, Indiana.
They had wintered in Sebring, Florida for 20 years.
Mary is survived by her Husband – Donald Hayn, Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Delores Reed and husband Doug of Warsaw, Indiana; and Joan Buchanan, Loveland, Colorado
Sons – Merl Hayn and wife Susan of Argos, Indiana; and Loren Hayn and wife Martha of Argos, Indiana
9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother – Howard Wilhelm, Sister – Dorothy Graham
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 S. Michigan Rd., Plymouth, Indiana with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
Rev. Ollie Dongell and Rev. Ed Friberg both of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church will be officiating the services.
