Linda Kay (Gibbons) Lowry, 77 of  Muckshaw Road, Argos, Indiana passed away April 17, 2020 at 11:45 p.m. at We Belong Senior Care, Plymouth, Indiana where she had been in failing health the past three months.

On January 23, 1943 in Plymouth, Indiana she was born to Everett Gibbons and Florence (McGriff) Gibbons. Linda had lived all of her life in Marshall County.

On October 3, 1971 she married Carl Lee Lowry at the Santa Anne Church and together they would share the next 47 years until Carl's  passing on October 3, 2018.

Linda had been a bookkeeper at Bomarko, Plymouth, Indiana; Wicks Homes and Buildings; and  most recent Vories Farms.

Linda attended Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, Indiana; she was a member of the Argos American Legion Auxiliary, Post#68; and Ladies of the Moose Lodge, Plymouth, Indiana.

Linda was a graduate of Culver High School with the class of 1961.

Linda is survived by her Daughters – Lisa Overmyer Rochester, Indiana; Lori Virgil and husband Bruce of Plymouth, Indiana; Michelle Nichols of Argos, Indiana; Karen Newman and husband Kevin of Plymouth, Indiana.

Son – Michael Lowry and wife Linda of Rochester, Indiana

12 Grandchildren    2 Great Grandchildren

Brothers – Max Gibbons and his wife Joyce of Argos, Indiana; and Merl Gibbons and wife Leona of Plymouth, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her Parents; and Son – Richard Lowry

Linda's life will be celebrated with a private family graveside service at Maxinkuckee I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Poplar Grove officiated by Pastor Aaron Woodcox of the Walnut Church of the Brethren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the We Belong Senior Home of Plymouth, 300 Meadow Lane, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, Indiana
