Leaila Marie (Whetstone) Dill, 58 of Argos, Indiana passed away at 12:27 a.m. on April 7, 2025, at Parkview North, Fort Wayne, Indiana. On November 1, 1966, in Plymouth, Indiana to Dale R. Whetstone and Ruth Ann (Huff) Whetstone. She’s lived in Argos, Indiana for the past 8 years, having lived in Warsaw, Indiana prior.
On June 25, 2016, she married Lonnie W. Dill and together they shared the past 9 years with each other.
Leaila worked at McDonald’s in Argos, Indiana and Wal-Mart in Warsaw, Indiana. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos, Indiana, and was a graduate of Triton High School with the class of 1986. She had been a member of Blueberry Sam’s Club # 63, a camping group. She loved WWE and would root for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes
Leaila is survived by her Husband – Lonnie Dill of Argos, Indiana
Sister – Yolanda L Ridenour of Argos, Indiana
Brother – Paul I. Whetstone and wife Dawn of Argos, Indiana
Step-Daughter – Maria Brady of Arkansas
Step-Grandchildren – Alice and Emmy
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother – Dale Whetstone
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday April 19, 2025, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, 6800 S. State Road 15, Claypool, Indiana 46510. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Sister Creassia Blackburn.
