Larry Lee Quimby

Larry Lee Quimby, 71 of 15th Road, Argos, Indiana died January 23, 2015 at 10:20 a.m. at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on November 14, 1943 in Argos, Indiana to Ernest and Olive (Crow) Quimby. Larry had lived all of his life in the Argos community.

On September 29, 1998 in Plymouth, Indiana he married Barbara L. Scott.
Larry had worked for Argos Elevator, BOF Plastics both of Argos, Indiana and he also was a Truck Driver.
Larry was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1961 and was a member of Breathless a COPD support group.
He also was a volunteer Fireman with the Argos Fire Department for 25 years.

Larry is survived by his Wife Barbara Quimby of Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Lisa Vladiff and husband Michael of Argos, Indiana; Leigh Ann Herbert and husband Parish of Spring Branch, Texas; Tina Lee Pfahler and husband Todd of Argos, Indiana; Tina Shackelford of Argos, Indiana; and Billie Jo Collins and husband Ronnie of Logansport, Indiana
Son – Thomas T. Quimby and wife Bernardette of Fort Campbell, Tennessee
16 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren
Larry is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother – Ernest L. Quimby and Sister – Evelyn Hinton

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. January 28, 2015 at the funeral home with Parish Herbert conducting his services.
Burial will take place privately at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
