Lajos Vegso, 78 of Tippecanoe, Indiana passed away March 10, 2023 at 3:55 p.m. at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana. On January 29, 1945, in Budapest, Hungary he was born to Lajos Vegso and Magdolma (Vogel) Vegso. In 1978 Lajos and Margit were sponsored by the Union Grace Brethren Church to move to America from Budapest, Hungary to Tyner, Indiana. He and Margit also lived in the communitiy of Culver and currently in Tippecanoe, Indiana.
On December 4, 1972 in Budapest, Hungary he married Margit Bures and together they shared the past 50 years.
Lajos was a Master Electrician working for BPC Manufacturing, Plymouth, Indiana and later self-employed. He attended Bourbon Country Church, Bourbon, Indiana; and was a former member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge.
Lajos is survived by his Wife – Margit Vegso of Tippecanoe, Indiana
Children – Lewie Vegso and wife Judith of Mishawaka, Indiana; Zsolt Vegso and wife Ann of Culver, Indiana; Zsuzsa Vegso of Budapest, Hungary; and Karl Vegso of South, Bend, Indiana
6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild
He is preceded in death by his: Parents, Granddaughter – Kristina Vegso
There will be a gathering of Family and Friends on March 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Country Church, 2951 9B Road, Bourbon, Indiana 46570.
