Kathleen M. (Doody) Vires

Kathleen M. (Doody) Vires, 79 of West State Road 14, Rochester, Indiana died on February 18, 2016 at 10:25 p.m. at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on January 19, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to James Patrick Doody and Beatrice (Mercier) Doody.
Kathleen had lived in Rochester since July 2007, coming from Culver, Indiana where she had lived for 15 years.

On July 14, 1955 in Plymouth, Indiana she married James Robert Vires, he preceded her.

Kathleen worked in sales most of her life working at Emmons Jewelry, Chicago, Illinois and Rainbow Studio, Chicago, Illinois.  
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Chicago, Illinois.

Kathleen is survived by her Sons – Terrance Vires of Florida; and Brian T. Vires of Wisconsin
Grandson – James Vires of Colorado
Sisters – Irene Lisak of Culver, Indiana; Patricia Kolar of Argos, Indiana; Beatrice Mary Beran and husband Robert of California; Jean Henney of Culver, Indiana; Georgia Ford of Rochester, Indiana; Martha Rosario and husband Angelo of Puerto Rico.
Brothers – Arthur Frances Doody and wife Grace of Woodridge, Illinois; and Terrance Doody of Culver, Indiana.
Many Nieces and Nephews  

Kathleen is preceded in death by her Parents, and Brothers – James Doody; Daniel Doody; and Patrick Doody.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday February 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.
