Karen Everdon Obituary

Karen Lou Everdon, 72 of Argos, Indiana passed away October 7, 2024, at 4:36 p.m. at her residence. Karen was born in Plymouth, Indiana on July 31, 1952, the daughter of Joseph C. Everdon and Donna Lee [Ryan] Kamp. She has lived in the Argos community for most of her life.

Karen worked for many years as an Insurance Agent with Golden Rule Insurance, South Bend, Indiana and Farmers Insurance in Logansport, Indiana. She also worked at IUSB in the FACET Department and had most recently worked at the Argos Public Library.

She enjoyed working on Genealogy research. She also was active in the West High School Alumni Association, and rarely missed attending their annual reunions in Plymouth.  Karen was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1970. She then attended Indiana University and received a BS of English, and a MA of Library Science.

Karen is survived by her Siblings – Twin Sister Kathryn Bickle, of Argos, Brother - David Everdon of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, and Sister - Gail Quesinberry of Edwardsburg, Michigan.  She is also survived by four Nieces and Nephews, Stacy Cox, Hayley Bickle-Wiser, Matthew Quesinberry, and Mitchel Quesinberry. 

She was preceded in death by her Parent Joseph Everdon in November 2006, and Donna Kamp in July 2014

 

Friends may join the family on Saturday November 2, 2024, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Argos American Legion, 120 N. First St., Argos, Indiana for a Celebration of Life.
