Juanita (Barnett) Fugate, 81 of Argos, Indiana passed away on August 22, 2023, at 9:05 a.m. at her residence. On September 7, 1941, in Jackson, Kentucky Juanita was born to Harlen Barnett and America (Ritchie) Barnett. She lived in Argos; Indiana for the past 2 years, having lived in North Judson for 22 years prior.

On October 5, 1958, she married Sam H. Fugate and together they shared the next 64 years.

Juanita was a Housewife/Homemaker and worked at Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, Indiana as a Nurse Aid in the OB ward. She was a member of The Cross church in Rochester, Indiana.

Juanita is survived by her Husband – Sam Fugate of Argos, Indiana

Daughters – Gwendloyn Craft of Plymouth, Indiana; Jennifer Risner of Mentone, Indiana; and Michelle Ringer and husband Randy of Argos, Indiana.

8 Grandchildren – Ronnie, Brandon, John, Ben, Tara, Samantha, Tyler, and Maci

10 Great Grandchildren – Reganne, Ruby, Haven, Landon, Anelle, Trip, Nova, Zaylen, Zylex, and Adian    

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Son – Phillip Fugate, Grandson – Dylan Craft, Brothers – Orbin Barnett, Douglas Miller, Paul Miller, and Donnie Miller, Sisters – Pheobe Miller, Vivian Tolson, Kathy Braasch, and Rhonda Bolen

No Services are planned at this time……. Entombment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana
