John Henry Music, 57 of Bourbon, Indiana passed away on October 18, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital following a sudden illness. On April 2, 1964 in Martin, Kentucky he was born to Oliver “Boss” Music and Oeda (Lafferty) Music. He had lived in Marshall County, Indiana since 1990, having came here from Alger, Ohio.
On December 20, 1996 in Etna Green, Indiana he married Heidi Lin Apple together they shared the past 25 years.
John was a Roofer having worked for Bambi Roofing, Atwood, Indiana; DuDeck, South Bend, Indiana; and Slate Tile Roofing, Mishawaka, Indiana.
He was a member of United Union of Roofers Local 23, South Bend, Indiana.
John was a graduate of Prestonsburg High School with the class of 1982. He was a Kentucky Wildcat Fan and enjoyed college football, golfing, hunting, and his dog Bullseye.
John is survived by his Wife Heidi Music of Bourbon, Indiana.
Children – Gregory Hal Music of Bourbon, Indiana; Jessica Lin Music and (Jacob Fawley) of West Lafayette, Indiana; Tia Risner of Alger, Ohio; and Tommy Risner of Alger, Ohio
3 Grandchildren
Brothers – Floyd Music and wife Beatrice of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Albert Music and wife Dian of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; and James Music of Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his: Parents, Granddaughter – Rhylynn, 4 Brothers; 3 Sisters
Friends may visit with the family on Monday October 25, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 25, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summit Chapel Cemetery, State Road 10, Tippecanoe, Indiana. Burial will follow.
