John R. Hickle

John R. Hickle, 70 of 402 W. Marshall St., Argos, Indiana died September 6, 2014 at 6:25 a.m. at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana following a three month illness.
He was born in Hammond, Indiana on June 19, 1944 to George Glenn Hickle and Alta Mary (O’Neal) Hickle.
John had lived in the Argos community since 2010, coming from Whiting, Indiana.

John was an Insurance Agent for Prudential Life Insurance Company and a Bar Tender at several Taverns and Bars. He was a graduate of Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing Illinois with the class of 1961 and attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois

He is survived by his Sisters – Doris Stokes of Indianapolis, Indiana; Lee Dekoker and husband Bill of Belvidere, Illinois; Sharon Hayes of Sykesville, Maryland; and Wanda Gardner and husband Keith of Sauk Village, Illinois.
Brothers – Dennis Hickle and wife Bonnie of Mississippi; and Richard Hickle of Indianapolis, Indiana
Sister-in-Law – Jan Hickle of Texas
Brother-in-Law – John Nalezny of Florida; and Jerry Komp of Merrillville, Indiana
And many Nieces and Nephews

John is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters – Vivian Nalezny and Laura Komp, and Brothers – Willard Hickle, Duane Hickle.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday September 20, 2014 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Memorial Services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. September 20, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Dewey L. Miller Jr. of the Argos United Methodist Chuch
