John Gregg Ferguson

John Gregg Ferguson, 76 of Argos, Indiana passed away July 2, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. at Saint Joseph Health System, Mishawaka, Indiana following a short illness. On November 22, 1944 in Argos, Indiana he was born to Melvin D. Ferguson and Dorothy E. (Powers) Ferguson-Swanson. John had lived all of his life in Argos community.

On March 26, 1977 in Bremen, Indiana he married Elaine R. Bules.Tand together they shared the past 44 years.

He had worked at Del Monte – Plymouth, Indiana having retired in October 2008.

John was a member of the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, Plymouth, Indiana. He was a past member of the Argos Lion’s Club and Rural Youth of Marshall County. John was a member of the Marshall County Fair Board and very involved in Marshall County 4-H. He was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1963.

John is survived by his Wife – Elaine Ferguson of Argos, Indiana

Sons – Eric J. Ferguson and wife Amy of Plymouth, Indiana; Gregg M. Ferguson of Argos, Indiana

Grandchildren – Aubrey and Bryce Ferguson

Brothers – Jerry Ferguson and wife Karen of Onalska, Wisconson; and James Ferguson and wife Rhonda of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday July 7, 2021 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Tom Anders. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
