John Joseph Archambeault

John Joseph Archambeault, 76 of Argos, Indiana passed away on December 10, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at his residence. On October 21, 1948, in Argos, Indiana he was born to Clarence (Shorty) & Marie (Haller) Archambeault. 

John lived all his life in the Argos community.

On April 29, 1977, in Argos, Indiana he married Rose Hollar and together they shared the next 47 years.

John worked for 30 years for the Argos City Utilities Department, retiring on March 28, 2014, as Superintendent of Utilities. He attended Argos High School and joined the United States Navy receiving his Honorable Discharge on October 25, 1973. 

John is survived by his Wife – Rose Archambeault of Argos, Indiana

Children – Jason Thompson and wife Kristen of Detroit, Michigan; Carrie Archambeault of Argos; and Joey Archambeault and wife Cynthia of Rochester, Indiana

Grandchildren – Taylor, Alexus, Nyah, Charlie, and Brynley

Sister – Ida Mae Ratliff and husband Claude of Falls Church, Virginia

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters – Delores Gordon; Rita Marks; Annell Archambeault; and Rene Harley

Graveside Services will be held on December 17, 2024, at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana at 2:30 p.m. with burial to follow. The United States Navy Honor Guard will perform Military Honors.
