Joe Preston II Obituary
Joe P. Preston II, 58 of Broadway St., Argos, Indiana died on December 10, 2014 at 4:29 a.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, Indiana following a lengthy illness.
Joe was born on July 19, 1956 in Plymouth, Indiana to Joe P. Preston and Myrtle (Cudney) Preston and had lived in Argos, Indiana for the past year and a half, coming from Tyner, Indiana.
He married Shannon Preston who lives in Pierceton, Indiana. They later divorced.
Joe had worked at AKER Plastic in Plymouth, Indiana; and owned Country Joe’s Landscape Service. He also had worked at Country Garden's in South Bend, Indiana.
Joe loved to fish and hunt and always felt at home working in a garden. He love spending time with his Grandchildren.
Joe earned his GED and later graduated from Ancilla College.
He proudly served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4th Class with the 2nd Battalion, 50 Infantry, 2nd Armored Division in Garlstedt, Germany from April 9, 1974 to January 29, 1983.
He is survived by his Daughter – Adrienne Alvarado and husband Roman of Bremen, Indiana.
Sons – Eric Preston and wife Tecka of Tyner, Indiana; and Daniel Preston and wife Sara of Argos, Indiana.
11 Grandchildren
Brothers – Robert Preston and wife Lucy of Piqua, Ohio; and James Preston and wife Carolyn of Tucson, Arizona.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters – Pam Everhart and Georgia Preston
