James "Jamie" Robert Mencl

James "Jamie" Robert Mencl, 63 of Rochester, Indiana passed away on October 29, 2021 at 11:35 a.m. at his residence following an illness since August. On December 9, 1957 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey he was born to Gerald Mencl and Joyce (Flood) Mencl. He had lived in Rochester, Indiana for the past 5 years having lived in Marshall County, Indiana for 30 years prior.

On October 1, 1977 in Elkhart, Indiana he married Marlene Sellers and with each other they shared the next 44 years.

Jamie was a Bladesmith/metalworker. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #852, Rochester, Indiana. Jamie was a graduate of John Glenn High School with the class of 1975.

Jamie is survived by his Wife Marlene Mencl of Rochester, Indiana.

Son – Eric H. Mencl and wife Tina of Argos, Indiana

Grandson – Henry James Mencl

Brother – Jeff Mencl of Plymouth, Indiana

Sister – Jeralyn Ellis of Walkerton, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his: Parents, Grandchildren – Wyatt Evan Mencl and Hailey Nicole Mencl
