James Craft, 86 of Pearl St., Plymouth, Indiana died October 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at his daughter’s residence in Argos, Indiana. He had been been ill for several months.
James was born on October 20, 1927 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Clifton Craft and Meadia Hensley and had lived in the Argos community since 1951, coming from Kentucky.
On October 16, 1973 in Clintwood, Virginia he married Marcelle L. (Hartman) Craft.
James worked at Eley’s Saw Mill in Argos, Indiana as an Off Bearer.
He is survived by his Wife – Marcelle Craft of Plymouth, Indiana
Daughter – Brenda Craft of Argos, Indiana; Son – Danny Craft of Argos, Indiana
Step-Son – Richard Flory and wife Vickie of Plymouth, Indiana
Step-Daughters – Letha Taber of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Joan Flory of Argos, Indiana; and Kay Metsker of Plymouth, Indiana
5 Grandchildren 8 Step Grandchildren 2 Great-Grandchildren 2 Step Great-Grandchildren
Sisters – Alma Hensley of Plymouth, Indiana; and Faye Montgomery and husband Lennard of Tifton, Ohio
Brother – Grover Craft and wife Janice of Tippecanoe, Indiana
James was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister – Ruth Miller, 4 Half Brothers and 3 Half Sisters .
Friends may visit with the family on Monday October 20, 2014 from 11 am - 2 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Rd., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. October 20, 2014 at the church.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
