James Thurman Ballinger, 59 of Lakeville, Indiana passed away on August 15, 2022 at 4:44 p.m. at his residence. On July 20, 1963 in Plymouth, Indiana he was born to Dennis Ballinger and Janet “Dolly” Azbell. Jim had lived in the Lakeville community since 2019, having lived in Elkhart prior to that.
Jim was a Material Handler at Lake Cable Copper Conductors since December 2010.
He served his Country in the United States Army, and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1343 Rochester, Indiana; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 852 of Rochester, Indiana.
Jim loved a good round of golf, and a motorcycle ride through the country. He was known best for his unexpected stops to visit with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his Children – Jessica Jordan and husband Steven of LaPorte, Indiana; Amanda Ballinger of New Jersey; Nicole Ballinger of LaPorte, Indiana; Sandra Ballinger of Elkhart, Indiana; and James Ballinger II of Elkhart, Indiana.
Grandchildren – Sawyer Ballinger-Martin
Brothers – William Ballinger; Donald Ballinger; Alden Ballinger
Sisters – Regina Fogelsanger; Patches Conley; Trina Ballinger; Linda Morneau; Laurie Yeserski: Priscilla Williams; and Wendy Ballinger
He is preceded in death by his: Parents; Uncles – Rocky Ballinger and Larry Ballinger; Nephew – Thomas Perkins
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 22, 2022 at Maple Grove Cemetery. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana
