Jack P. Rowe

Jack P. Rowe, 80 of Walnut St., Argos, Indiana died on May 23, 2017 at 9:20 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver, Indiana where he had been in declining health.
He was born on October 20, 1936 in Marshall County, Indiana to George Rowe and Minnie Belle (Emmons) Rowe and had lived all of his life in the Argos community.

On May 6, 1962 in Warsaw, Indiana he married Janet M. Fawley and together they have shared the past 55 years with each other.

He worked for Marshall County REMC in Appliance Repairs and a Meter Reader.
Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Jack served on the Argos Town Board and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He served in the United States Army from October 10, 1958 and was Honorably Discharged on September 30, 1964.
Jack was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1954.

Jack is survived by his Wife – Janet Rowe of Argos, Indiana
Daughter – Pamela Sue Mechling of Plymouth, Indiana
Son – Brad Allen Rowe of Argos, Indiana
8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
Brothers – Richard Rowe of Plymouth, Indiana; and Gene Rowe and wife Patty of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother – Bud Rowe


Friends may visit with the family on Thursday May 25, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana with the United States Honor Guard and James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, Argos, Indiana conducting Military Honors.
