Hubert Lee King

Hubert Lee King, 77 of rural Argos, Indiana passed away September 26, 2023, at 2:52 p.m. at his residence. On October 14, 1945, in Fresno, California he was born to Fred King and Bessie (Means) King. Hubert had lived in the Argos community for the past 20 years, coming from Escalon, California.

On December 13, 1969, he married Billie J. Dilport and together they shared the next 54 years.

Hubert retired in 1996 from the Department of Justice with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Furniture Foreman. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1967 – 1969. He was a graduate of Caruthers Union High School with the class of 1964 in Caruthers, California.

Hubert is survived by his Wife – Billie King of Argos, Indiana

Daughters – Glory Grace King of Argos, Indiana; Hope King of Argos and her fiancé Samron Nazir, Indiana; and Susannah Pribbenow and husband Steven of Kansas.

Sons – Ryan King of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Jeremy King of Chicago, Illinois

3 Grandchildren – Hazel, Charles, and Titus    

Nephews - Andrew Gause and Tyler Gause

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister – Verna Wolf

Graveside Services will be held at a later date at the Spade Mountain Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma
