Heather Lyn (Ousley) Stutzman

Heather Lyn (Ousley) Stutzman, 36 of rural Etna Green, Indiana passed away October 15, 2024, at 7:26 a.m. in her residence. On May 1, 1988, in Warsaw, Indiana she was born to Jeff Ousley and Stephanie (Hudson) Kitson. Heather had lived all her life in Kosciusko County, Indiana.

On May 24, 2008, in Warsaw, Indiana, she married Alan Stutzman and together they shared the next 16 years with each other.

Heather formerly attended Shiloh Chapel, Silver Lake, Indiana. She was a member of the Nappanee Raceway, and the ITPA (International Trotting Pacing Association). She had served as past Secretary of the Nappanee Raceway, ITPA, Mid-Western Big 4, and was the current Nappanee Raceway Photographer. Heather was a graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School with the class of 2006.

Heather is survived by her Husband Alan Stutzman of Etna Green, Indiana

Mother – Stephanie Kitson and husband Bryan of Leesburg, Indiana

Grandmother – Lynn Ousley of Warsaw, Indiana

Sisters – Rachael Stutzman and husband LaVerne of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; Alison Ousley and Miguel Rivera of Warsaw, Indiana

Sisters – Emily Kitson, Rebecca Kitson, Olivia Kitson all of Leesburg, Indiana

Brothers – Daniel Kitson, Michael Kitson, David Kitson all of Leesburg, Indiana

Father and Mother-in-Law – Richard and Rosanna Stutzman of Bourbon, Indiana

She is preceded in death by her Father – Jeff Ousley, Grandpa Joe Ousley Sr., and Grandparents – Dale and Barbara Hudson

Friends may visit with the family Sunday October 20, 2024, from 3 - 7 p.m. at The Pond, 3965 E. County Line Road, Nappanee, Indiana. 

Funeral Services will be Monday October 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at The Pond with Joe Ousley Jr... Burial will follow at the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Indiana
