George Earl McCay, 79 of 625 Oakhill Ave., Plymouth, Indiana; Formerly of the Argos Community, died on October 15, 2015 at 1:11 p.m. at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, Indiana, following a very sudden illness.
He was born on January 26, 1936 in Argos, Indiana to Earl B. McCay and Zella M. (Myers) McCay and had been a lifetime resident of the Argos community.
On March 27, 1960 in Warsaw, Indiana he married Phyllis Ann (Fawley) McCay. She preceded him on October 7, 1981.
George was a lifetime Dairy Farmer. He was a member of the Marshall County Dairy Association; and the Marshall County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. George was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1954.
George is survived by his Sons – Brent E. McCay and wife Linda of Tippecanoe, Indiana; Michael “Mike” McCay and wife Rhonda of Argos, Indiana
7 Grandchildren – Andrew McCay and wife Karrie of Argos, Indiana; Carissa McCay of West Lafayette, Indiana; Kent McCay of Rochester, Indiana; and Breanne McCay of Rochester, Indiana; Staci Singleton of Plymouth, Indiana; Erica Haag and husband Chad of Plymouth, Indiana; and Carly McCay of Argos, Indiana

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday October 20, 2015 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. October 20, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana
