Gayle Annette (Hagenbush) Kintigh, 74 of Elkhart, Indiana passed away October 21, 2024, at 10:25 a.m. in Esther's House Center for Hospice, Elkhart, Indiana. On January 9, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana Gayle was born to Charles “Red” Richard Hagenbush and Betty June (Preslar) Hagenbush. She lived in Elkhart for the past 9 years, having lived in Goshen, Indiana prior.
Gayle worked at Johnson Controls for nearly 30 years and most recent with Beacon Medical, Elkhart General Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist for the past 15 years.
Gayle was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1968. She served her Country in the United States Navy receiving her Honorable Discharge on December 30, 1969. She was a member of DAV #15, Goshen, Indiana.
Gayle was an avid baseball fan always rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
She is Survived by her Daughter – Kelly Farmer and husband Andrew of Elkhart, Indiana
Son – Shawn Kintigh and wife Heather of Goshen, Indiana
8 Grandchildren
Brothers – Charles “Chuck” K. Hagenbush of Argos, Indiana; and Kent I. Hagenbush and wife Geralyn of Fort Wayne, Indiana

Gayle is preceded in death by her Parents
Friends may visit with the family on Monday October 28, 2024, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Christopher Brown. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery with Military Honor’s performed by the United States Navy Honor Guard and the Bourbon American Legion Post#424.
