Frank Allen Harley, 68 of Indiana Ave., Argos, Indiana died January 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 4, 1947 in Argos, Indiana to Walter L. Harley & Anna Louise (Reed) Harley and had lived all of his life in the Argos community.
On December 24, 1976 in Argos, Indiana he married Georgia Ann Hill.
He worked in maintenance for the Town of Argos, retiring in 2008.
Frank served in Company C, 2nd Battalion, 10th Infantry in the Fifth United States Army during the Vietnam War. Sergeant Frank Harley was Honorably Discharged on May 6, 1968.
He was a member of the James Lowell Corey; American Legion Post#68, Argos, Indiana; and Finney-Shilling V.F.W. Post #6919 of Culver, Indiana
Frank was a graduate of Argos High School class of 1965
He is survived by his Wife – Georgia Harley of Argos, Indiana
Sons – Brian and Brad Snyder of Argos, Indiana
2 Grandchildren – Kirsten Sibley and husband Gary; and Brad A Snyder II

Brothers – W. Lynn Harley and wife Barbara of Argos, Indiana; John R. Harley of South Bend, Indiana
Frank is preceded in Death by his Parents
A celebration of Life to Honor Frank will be on Saturday January 17, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. January 17, 2015 at the American Legion with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr.
The United States Army burial unit and the Argos American Legion Post #68 preforming military honors.
Burial will take place at a later date.
