Frances Yvonne (Baum) Sensibaugh

Frances Y. Sensibaugh, 92 of Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor; Garner Dr., Manassas, Virginia passed away on April 27, 2020 at 11:25 a.m. at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Virginia. She was born on February 2, 1928 in a farmhouse near Claypool, Indiana. Her mother and father were Trella and Cloice Baum. She graduated high school with the Mentone High School class of 1945.

Frances married Firman Sensibaugh on April 20, 1946. This year they marked their 74th Anniversary. Together they raised two boys and advanced in their careers while living in Warsaw, Indiana. Frances worked as a Customer Service Representative at R.R. Donnelley, also in Warsaw. 

She and Firman retired in 1987. They lived in Florida for over fifteen years before moving to Virginia to be closer to family.

Frances is survived by her husband, Firman L. Sensibaugh; and her brothers: Royal Baum and his wife Fran; Doyle Baum and his wife Melia; brother-in-law: Chuck Hunter; her son, Jay and his wife Sandy; daughter-in-law, Ann Page Sensibaugh; five grandchildren: Cheryl Sensibaugh; Joe Sensibaugh and his wife, Jennifer; Lee Allen Sensibaugh; Jason Sensibaugh and his wife Michelle; Heather Lataille and her husband Joe; and eight great grandchildren. Her parents; son, Lee Sensibaugh; brother, Edmond Baum; sister, Lois Hunter; and a great grandchild preceded her in death.

Frances’s life will be celebrated by Pastor Michael Beezley of the Atwood Altersgate United Methodist Church with a private family service at Oakwood Cemetery on Monday May, 4, 2020 at 1:00pm. .
