Evelyn Lucille Jones, 87 of Baker St., Plymouth, Indiana died June 20, 2014 at 5:44 a.m. at her residence where she had been in declining health. She was born on February 23, 1927 in Plymouth, Indiana to Elson and Edna Faye (Seymour) Reed. Lucille has lived in the Marshall County almost all of her life.
On December 24, 1948 at the Walnut Church of the Brethren in Argos, Indiana she married Denver E. Jones and together they have shared the past 65 years.
She was a housewife/homemaker and an accomplished seamstress using her sewing machine to make many things.
Lucille was a former member of the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, Indiana.
She was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School with the class of 1945 and attended Manchester College for 2 years.
She is survived by her Husband – Denver Jones of Plymouth, Indiana
Son – Allen E. Jones and wife Linda of Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Myrna S. Galbraith and husband Dave of Greenfield, Indiana; and Krista Jones of Greenfield, Indiana
Grandchildren – Ian Brown and wife Elizabeth of Greenwood, Indiana; Jason Jones and wife Alysha of Plymouth, Indiana; and Brent Jones of Plymouth, Indiana
Great-Grandchildren – Caleb and Colin Jones of Plymouth, Indiana; and Lillian Brown of Greenwood, Indiana
Brother – Roy Reed of Plymouth, Indiana

She was preceded in Death by her Parents, and Sisters – Bettie Hall, Virginia Harmon, Mary Gensinger, and Joan Hudson
Friends may visit with the family on Monday June 23, 2014 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana, and one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday June 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, Indiana.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
