Emily Jean Carr

Emily Jean Carr, 16 of Argos, Indiana passed away on August 20, 2022 at 4:37 p.m. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.On November 21, 2005 in Rochester, Indiana Emily was born to John F. Carr and Lisa M. (Ballinger) Carr. She lived all of her life in the Argos community.

Emily just started her Junior year at Argos High School where she was on the Volleyball Team and the Bowling Team. She was actively involved in Sunshine Club, Tech Club, Band, and the Leo’s Club.

Emily is survived by her Mom and Dad – Lisa and John Carr of Argos, Indiana

Brother – John R. Carr of Argos, Indiana

Paternal Grandparents – Karen and Ralph Swanson

Many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins

She is preceded in death by her: Maternal Grandparents – Rocky and Kay Ballinger; and Paternal Grandfather – Roy A. Carr.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday August 24, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Tim Lee and Rev. Max Milton. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.

In honoring the life of Emily the family request to come wearing your Sponge Bob or Harry Potter attire or your favorite Argos High School apparel.
