Ellen Mae (Lowry) Schauer, 87 of Cedar Park, Texas died on March 20, 2017 at 3:43 a.m. at her residence in Cedar Park, Texas. She had been in declining health for the past  few years.
Ellen was born on January 2, 1930 in Argos, Indiana to Robert R. Lowry and Genevieve A. (Boyce) Lowry. She has spent almost 2 years in Texas, and had lived in Ft. Wayne for over 50 years. She was born and raised in Argos, Indiana

On May 6, 1950 in Argos, Indiana she married William Theodore Schauer and this May they would have shared 67 years with each other.
Ellen worked for Bennets Clothing of Ft. Wayne, Indiana as a Tailor.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and Beauceant both of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Parkwood Church of God of Ft. Wayne, Indiana
Ellen was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1948  

Ellen is survived by her Husband – William Schauer of Cedar Park, Texas
Daughter – Beverley (Schauer) Norris and husband David of Cedar Park, Texas
Grand Daughters – Christine Simpson and husband Daniel of Cedar Park, Texas; Denise Stiglich and husband Matthew of Cedar Park, Texas
4 Great Granddaughters
Sister – Anita Kay (Lowry) Snell of Ft. Wayne, Indiana

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother-in-Law – Jack Snell

Graveside Services will be held on Friday March 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Juniper Rd., Argos, Indiana with Pastor James Keckler of Parkwood Church of God, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
