Edward D. Wilcox

Edward D. Wilcox, 76 of Plum St., Argos, Indiana died on May 16, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. at his residence
in Argos, Indiana. He had been in declining health for several years. Ed was born on September 28, 1940 in Plymouth, Indiana to Chester Wilcox and Leona Mae (Masterson) Wilcox.
Ed moved to Argos, Indiana in 1971, but had lived in Marshall County all of his life.

On June 2, 1961 in Plymouth, Indiana he married Shirley A. Hite and next month they would have shared 56 years with each other.
Ed was a Fiberglass Repairman and was Owner/Operator of E&S fiberglass in Rochester, Indiana.

Ed is survived by his Wife – Shirley Wilcox of Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Beth Ward of Plymouth, Indiana; and Robbin Nelson and husband Brian of Rochester, Indiana
Seven grandchildren - Eric Ward and wife Amber of West Lafayette, Indiana; Alyssa Rippy and husband Tanner of Plymouth, Indiana; Derek Nelson of Indianapolis, Indiana; Aaron Nelson of Rochester, Indiana; Michael Wilcox and wife Amanda of Tippecanoe, Indiana; Brad Wilcox and wife Stephanie of Tippecanoe, Indiana; and Matthew Wilcox of Etna Green, Indiana
Eight Great-grandchildren Olivia Ward, Lexi Ward, Hadlee Rippy, Shaylin Wilcox, Jason Wilcox, Braxton Wilcox, Bradyn Wilcox, and Skyla Wilcox.

Edward also leaves behind many beloved in-laws, Sue (Jan) Warner, Barbara Dickson, Rosemary Johnston, Lettie (Danny) Maxson, Gene (Donna) Hite, Ray (Marge) Hite, Ron Hite, Valerie Hite, Connie Hite. Along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Arthur Wilcox, and son Edward Wilcox Jr.
Beloved in-laws Loyal and Marguerite Hite, Ken Dickson, Carl Johnston Jr., Mary Hite, Dave Hite, Alvin Hite, Bruce and Pat Hite.


As per Edward’s wishes, there will not be a viewing or service.
