Edward H. Ryan Jr. , 53 of Short St., Argos, Indiana died Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 12:30 pm at the Elkhart Hospice House, Elkhart, Indiana following a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 16, 1961 in Tokyo, Japan to Edward H. Ryan Sr. and Bobby Golden and had lived in the Argos community for the last 18 years, coming from Plymouth, Indiana.

On September 5, 1986 in Alabama he married Susan McCall.
He was a landscaper by trait and had worked for several local farmers.
Edward was baptized in the Church of Christ and attended the Argos Wesleyan Church. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School, class of 1979 in Winchester, Tennessee, and served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
Edward had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and finding mushrooms.

He is survived by his Wife – Susan Ryan of Argos, Indiana
Daughter – Rachel Ryan of Danbury, Connecticut
Son – Kevin Ryan of Argos, Indiana
Granddaughter – Serenity Mangas
Father and Step-Mother – Edward Ryan Sr. and his wife Ina Lee of Morrison, Tennessee
Mother – Bobby Golden of Chelsea, Alabama
Sister – Stephanie Palmer and husband John of Chelsea, Alabama
Brother – Darrell Ryan and wife Tammy of Winchester, Tennessee

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday June 7, 2014 from 10 am - 12 noon at the Argos Wesleyan Church, 401 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm Saturday June 7, 2014 at the Argos Wesleyan Church, 401 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Brian Trump of the Argos, Wesleyan Church.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
