Douglas Garl Cultice, 77 of Walnut St., Argos, Indiana died on June 10, 2017 at 6:18 a.m. at his residence with his family. He was born on October 22, 1939 in Argos, Indiana to Garl Layton Cultice and Beatrice Louise (Warner) Cultice. Doug had lived in the Argos community since 1986 coming from Lakeville, Indiana.
On December 20, 1958 in Mishawaka, Indiana he married Jacqueline (Fisher) Cultice and together they have shared the past 57 years.
Doug worked for John Deere Harvester in East Moline, Illinois. In 1976 Doug was forced to leave John Deere due to Blindness. That didn't slow him down becoming an entrepreneur to support his family by owning a Bar/Restaurant called Jackie’s Lounge along with other endeavors.
Doug is survived by his Wife – Jackie Cultice, Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Shay L. Cultice of LaPaz, Indiana; and Kelly K. Bronkema and husband Kevin of Edwardsburg, Michigan
4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Son – Clay D. Cultice, Lifelong Friend and Partner in Crime - Allen Kite
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday June 15, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, Indiana
Entombment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
