Dorothy Lucille (Swihart) Kinsey

Dorothy Lucille Kinsey, 97 of 18B Rd., Tippecanoe, Indiana died on October 29, 2014 at 10:52 p.m. at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana following a brief illness.
She was born on November 4, 1916 in Sevastopol, Indiana to Alva and Osa (Blue) Swihart and had lived in the Tippecanoe community most of her life.

In 1942 she married Harry D. Kinsey. He preceded her in 1966.
Dorothy was a Punch Press operator for Da-Lite Screen in Warsaw, Indiana where she had worked for over 25 years, retiring in 1980.
She is a member of the Riverview Community Church, Tippecanoe, Indiana

Dorothy is survived by her Sons – Gary L. Kinsey and wife Nancy of Tippecanoe, Indiana; and Dennis E. Kinsey and wife Darla of Tippecanoe, Indiana
5 Grandchildren – Jeffery Kinsey and wife Trisha of Etna Green, Indiana; Gregory Kinsey and wife Paula of Bourbon, Indiana; Dennis Kinsey Jr. and wife Amy of Florida; Daniel Kinsey of Tippecanoe, Indiana; and Dawne Kinsey of Tippecanoe, Indiana
13 Great-Grandchildren 5 Great Great-Grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sisters – Loretta Rhoades and Helen Shenefield-Clark and Brothers – Chauncy Swihart, Gordon Swihart, Howard Swihart, Kenny Swihart, and Jake Jefferies.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. November 1, 2014 at the Tippecanoe Cemetery with Rev. Rod Ruberg of the Riverview Community Church.
Burial will follow the graveside service at the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, Indiana.
