Donnie Paul Snyder

Donnie Paul Snyder, 90 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away January 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at his residence. On November 3, 1935, in Plymouth, Indiana he was born to John R. Snyder and Nadine R. (France) Snyder. Donnie lived all of his life in Marshall County, Indiana, but he loved his Argos Community the most.

On November 24, 1956, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin he married Marlis Ann Reimer and together they shared 67 years before her passing on December 4, 2023.

Donnie was a Building Contractor and built many homes in Marshall County. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Plymouth, Indiana and a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1954. While in high school Donnie excelled at sports, playing basketball and baseball.

Donnie proudly served his county in the United States Army and on May 31, 1962, SGT Donnie Snyder received his Honorable Discharge.

Donnie is survived by his Daughters – Julie S. Hampton of Plymouth, and Karen L. Snyder of Plymouth, Indiana

Son – Douglas P. Snyder and wife Kim of Plymouth, Indiana

Grandchildren – Haley Luna and husband Jesse, Lauren Hampton and fiancé Jake Deacon, Jessica Clements and husband Ken; and Brian Snyder and wife Kirsten

8 Great Grandchildren

Sister – Sharon Powell of Argos, Indiana

Brothers – Bill Snyder and wife Sharon of Plymouth, Indiana; Eugene Snyder and wife Gladys of Argos, Indiana; and John Snyder and wife Shirley of Plymouth, Indiana

Sister-in-Law – Sheila Reimer of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; and Brother-in-Law – James Heling of Sheboygan, Wisconsin

And many nieces, and nephews

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Son – Timothy Snyder, Son-in-Law – Stephen Hampton, and Sister – Rose Ann O’Dell  

The family of Donnie Snyder would like to extend their thanks to the staff and nurses of Traditions Health Hospice for the exceptional care given to Donnie. 

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday January 15, 2026, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. s

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church; 1314 N Michigan St, Plymouth, Indiana with Pastor Eric Ahlemeyer and Pastor Roger Rohde of Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana with Military Honors by the United States Army.
