Deven Michael Rex

Deven Michael Rex, 27 of East Walnut St., Argos, Indiana died on February 8, 2018 at 7:25 p.m. at his residence in Argos, Indiana.
He was born on December 31, 1990 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Dale Rex Sr. and Pamela McCoy and had lived all of his life in the Argos community.

Deven worked for Mobile Tech Trailers, Argos, Indiana where he was a laborer and welder.  
He was baptized and a member of the Argos United Methodist Church, Argos, Indiana; Involved with ABATE of Indiana, Region 1 and the Sons of the American Legion Post#68, Argos, Indiana.
He was a graduate of Argos High School class of 2009.
Deven enjoyed Camping, Motorcycle Riding, Fishing, and Floating down the River, but most of all spending time with his boys and a round of golf with his brother.    

Deven is survived by his Sons – Zander and Gavin Rex both of Plymouth, Indiana
Father and Step-Mother – Dale Rex Sr. and wife Lori of Argos, Indiana
Mother– Pamela McCoy of Columbia City, Indiana
Sister – Danielle Styles and husband Dan of Rochester, Indiana
Brother – Dale Rex Jr. and wife Melissa of Champaign, Illinois
Step Sisters – Ashley Elmore and husband Charlie of Argos, Indiana; Ashton Simpson and husband Travis of McMinnville, Oregon; Staci Goodwin and husband Bradley of Bowie, Texas; and Emily Richards and husband Dan of Bremen, Indiana  
Paternal Grand Father – Joe H. Rex of Argos, Indiana
Maternal Grandparents – Pierce Vires Jr. and Carol McCoy of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother – Mary Lou Rex; Step Brothers – Seth Mathias and Andy Ginther; and Infant Brother Matthew Rex; and Uncle John Joe Rex

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday February 13, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Bob Vale and Rev. Heather Foley.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
