Demetrio Eusebio Popi-Quinto

Demetrio Eusebio Popi-Quinto, 81 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away  May 20, 2022 at 2:23 p.m. at the St. Joseph Health Systems, Mishawaka, Indiana. On August 14,1940 in Cerro de Pasco, Chaupimarca, Peru he was born to Antonio Popi and Saturdina Quinto-Popi. Demetrio has lived in the Plymouth community since 1986, coming from Peru.

On April 23, 1963 in Lima, Peru he married Rufilia Martinez and together they have shared the past 58 years.

Demetrio has served as a Pastor of the Assembly of God in Plymouth, Indiana and Peru.

He was a member of the Assembly of God in Plymouth and Peru. He was the founder and Director at San Pablo Bible College, Lima, Peru.

Demetrio is survived by his Wife – Rufilia Martinez-Popi of Plymouth, Indiana

Sons – John William Popi-Martinez of Plymouth, Indiana: and David Demetrio Popi-Martinez of Goshen, Indiana

12 Grandchildren – Joshua Costilla and Hannah of Plymouth, Indiana; and Jacob Costilla and Rachel of Mishawaka, Indiana; John A. Popi and Whitney; Jordan Popi and Hailey; Lilianna Popi; Jonathan Popi; Lucas Popi; Anthony Popi; Melina Popi all of Plymouth, Indiana; and David A. Poppi; Nathan E. Poppi both of Goshen, Indiana; and Emmy V. Poppi all of Lima, Peru;

6 Great Grandchildren – Isabella; Jazmaella; Maksimiano; Aislynn; and Amora all of Plymouth; and Joyce of Lima, Peru

He is preceded in death by his: Parents, Brother – Raul Benito

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at New Song Church, 1292 Baker St, Plymouth, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jose Luis Gutierrez. Burial will follow at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana
