Christine Kay (Schori) Hammond

Christine Kay (Schori) Hammond, 72 of Argos, Indiana passed away April 14, 2023, at 3:45 p.m. at her residence after an extended illness. On October 6, 1950, in Warsaw, Indiana she was born to Raymond Schori and Leota (Ellsworth) Schori. She lived most of her life in the Argos community.

On August 28, 1970, in Argos, Indiana she married Gary L. Hammond and together they shared the next 33 years before Gary passed away in June of 2003.

Christine was a Housewife/Homemaker and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos, Indiana and was a Sunday School Teacher, and help with all the church dinners.

Christine is survived by her Children – Nicole L. Hammond of Argos, Indiana, and Joshua Hammond and wife Megan of Argos, Indiana

4 Grandchildren - Addison, Lydia, Emma, and Kinsie  

Brothers – Kenneth Schori and wife Sandy of Argos, Indiana; Kurt Schori and wife Brenda of Granger, Indiana; Phillippe Jones and wife Alice of Garrett, Indiana; and Kyle Schori and wife Jil of Mishawaka, Indiana

Several Nieces and Nephews  

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday April 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Rd., Argos, Indiana. 

Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. James Snyder. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
