Charles Sumey Obituary

Charles Ellsworth Sumey, 86 of 730 School St., Culver, Indiana died November 8, 2015 at 7:22 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor – Culver, Indiana following a lengthy illness. He was born on June 8, 1929 in Union Town, Pennsylvania to Thomas & Rebecca Sumey.
He has lived in Indiana since 1964, coming from Pennsylvania.

On January 29, 1951 in Pennsylvania he married Mammie Evelyn Elizabeth (Mills) Sumey. She preceded him in 1993.
Charles worked for U.S. Granules in Plymouth, Indiana were he retired in 1994.

He is survived by his Daughters – Betty L. O’Connor, of Plymouth, Indiana and Cindy Sumey of Plymouth, Indiana
Sons – Charles L. Sumey of Plymouth, Indiana: and Roger L. Sumey and wife June of Logansport, Indiana
3 Grandchildren – Louise Larson of Texas; Windy Lauderback of Plymouth, Indiana; and Randy Zehner of Georgia
Charles is preceded in death by his Parents, and Wife – Mammie Sumey

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November, 12, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Memorial Services will follow the visitation at 5:00 p.m. November 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce of the Fulton Baptist Church.
Burial will take place at the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana at a later date.
